September 23 theme: Ravenous Reptiles: Alligators & Crocodiles

Sanibel’s freshwater sources contribute to a rich and abundant biodiversity, hosting two of the biggest and most ravenous reptiles: alligators and crocodiles. In fact, Southwest Florida is one of the only places in the world where the two species coexist! Join us to become investi-gators and learn all about some of the island’s apex predators. We will venture through the swampy trails, play predator/prey games, and make palm frond art that looks like it could take a serious bite. All of this investigating will, of course, call for lots of midday water breaks and fun on the beach. We hope to see you later, alligator!

Space is limited, and registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration opens registration opens 10 a.m. on September 12. To ensure that all interested families have a chance to participate, we will limit registration to two free program days per academic year per child.
